Welcome to the Lawson State Community College Help Desk.  Here you can create and submit trouble tickets directly to the Lawson State Community College MIS Department. 

Employees:

When creating a trouble ticket for an MIS related issue, please be as specific as possible in your description of the problem.
 
In each request please include include the following information:
 
Location:  Campus/Building/Room Number
 
Time:         Specific times when the above location will be accessible for MIS employees to work on the problem.  Do not restrict this information to a single day.   Please include all available times during the week when the location will be available.
 
Attachments:    Screenshots of software related problems can be uploaded from the ticket creation interface.
 
 
An automated response will be created immediately upon your sending in of a helpdesk request, in this response you will receive a ticket number.  You should then receive an initial response regarding your ticket within one working day (24 hours) from the technician assigned to your ticket.

Logon Instructions:  

You can log into the Help Desk portal below using the same credentials you would use to log onto your Lawson State Email Account.

If you are experiencing problems logging onto your email account, or are requesting assistance with your email password please do the following.

From any other email account with which you have access create a new message with the following parameters.

TO:   helpdesk@lawsonstate.edu

SUBJECT:   Email Password Assistance Request

BODY:

First Name / Last Name / Date of Birth / Student ID# / Last 4 of SSN

**Once your information has been verified you will be emailed your current email credentials.

 

 After a helpdesk ticket has been created you can communicate directly with the MIS personnel who is handling your request by responding directly to the email that you will have received from the MISDepartment Email Account.  Do not change the subject line of the email.
